Sylvester Seth Rowzells

           2 years of my army life have taken enough of my freedom. but well... i'm getting fitter i can say. favourite Instructor is Staff Kiren cause i feel that we can link alot. he is like a best friend to me. anyway, i got Silver for Commando IPPT, because of my running otherwise i'll get gold.

Yesterday went out with my 2 buddies, suppose to be 4, was out with Er Jyn, Shane and Joel, Lamont didn't turn out so the 4 of us went shop eat and watched The Mummy. its more of a comedy i can say. bloody hell crowded. withh all the cars and human, kind of alot of hot chicks too. hahahaha

i wish i can travel again soon. i want to be in Europe once more. the famous N1 Centre in Islington, London. europe are good with their designs. creative people. very soon, i'll take leave from military and travel maybe for a week as 1 year i get 14days off day.

this coming tuesday(6), wednesday(7) i'll be in marsiling for outfield for your information its just a forest behind Sinagpore Zoological Gardens. and then, next week is also national day which means. long weekend

    Yesterday was one of the days i enjoyed the most, as i'm "serving the nations" I'm acutally serving the President of Singapore instead.  thats the truth about it. Army life have been very good.. coming to my 2nd month in Commando. Trainings are getting tougher but tought times don't last, tough mens do.

 yesterday went out to meet Jia Hong, Lynette and Yan ling to eat and watch movie, before all this early in the afternoon, went to meet Lynette for lunch in parkway and got myself some Uncle Toby Muslie bar. ate pasta for lunch, then jia hong came along and went to eat again. this time its bak kut teh, something i haven't ate in a long time, No.1 in Joo Chiat road.then went to pick yan up from parkway bus stop to head to town. we had movie in mind, at first wanted to watch Batman, The Dark Knight, then after that Yan said she was gonna go watch with her Biathlon friends. so we confirmed with Hell Boy The Golden Army in the end, went to Marina Square, it was dead packed and so we walked to Suntec's crappy Eng Wah to watch. very nice show, DC comics movie never failed me so far. go by the book and nothing will go wrong. haha... lazy to carry on

after the movie went to Bedok 85 to eat dinner * supper. filling and enjoyable day, made full use of my saturday. Power. next sat 24/7 guard duty, dammit ! sunday morning book out, sunday night book in. like just come out to sleep only.sad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH nothing to all those who concerns about me, i'm going to CGH on the 23rd of July which is this coming Wednesday for my ENT Specialist check up. oh by the way, ENT( Ear Nose Thoart).  thats about it, do call me on weekdays from 2000hr to 2100hr (9pm - !0pm)

    Well... hello my to my dear readers. i have not been updating as i'm spending my precious time outside. sleeping is kind of wasting my time so yeah, go out every single day, keep myself occupied still next friday. So much things not done, so little time, at least i get to meet up with my fellow Drama mamas(some).

Gonna go watch KungFu Panda later at cine with my buddies, Melvyn, Lynette, Yan Ling and maybe Boon Bing. Yong Zhi and Jia Hong. i invited Alvin but he is busy with his VolleyBall match later at 7.30. Best of Luck Buddy.

    Have you ever wonder how smart can kids be. It can sound like Rap to them which makes them cool. but really, just recently, my cousins and i were talking about childhood stuff when THIS CAME IN ! "How To Insult A Tan Song"

   Well today in church, Pastor Tan talked about L.I.F.E and i was very touched by today's sermon.

• L - Leaving to Cleave
• I -  Intimacy with the Lord
• F - Faith in God ( Wholly Follow The Lord )
• E - Example through Brokenness.

Its Interesting eh ! i myself was so interested throughout the service. and i'm proud of myself that when Pastor said those who are NOT YET a Cellgroup Leader or a Connect Group Leader and have been having the thoughts of being one. and those who are afriad getting laughed at and so on, come out to the front and Pastor will pray for you, and so when pastor said while eyes are closed, heads are bowed, on the count of 3, raise up your hands, and now on the count of 3 you open your eyes and come out to the front wherever you are, and i did it, i actually went to the front, it was a leap of faith cause the other time i had little lack of confidence to go out. but now that its over, i feel proud of myself.

The Journey is still long. but i'll never be tired praying and blessing others. cause i believed when i Sow, i'll Reap.

    A Love so strong yet so fragile but can't controls those emotions which lead to brokeness. its hard to explain but its easily felt when you experienced it. Money can't buy love neither can my heart. If only we can communicate and be more open to each other, we won't have to be distances away then lead to parting. IF you know who you are.. please tell me i still stand a chance ! as for noe. take care.

 its long but hope it pays off. like a saying when you sow you reap, so i did. i sow my time, sure i'll reap. haha.. so recently i have been sowing my money into friends and church., that means i'll be rich soon ! whoohoo ! seriously its like a miricale, i have been receiving gifts recently. ani't it awesome.

knowing of new friends too are awesome, people from Lamont's post birthday party, but the thing is, they are either smokers or drinkers or both. haha... but well i'm cool with that. haha.. don't really affect a drinker like me. anyway, nice to see Shane and Julian again. and that Er Jyn cut his old hairstyle again. so not creative at all. haha...made a deal with him, he gotta lose 15KG by end of this year. goodness. i got a picture of him eating by the bbq it. damn funny. and Mr lamont puked 3 times after getting drunk. haha.. but after awhile he was alright again. incredible indian blood in a chinese body. hahaha... his girlfriend puke once too. cool la... Nadia a nice friendly girl but filled with problems. she went off earlier for that mask party at arttica. couldn't go cause i'm already high. haha..anyway Zhi Hong, er jyn and i then hang around lamont's place till dawn then had Mac Donald's breakfast at Jurong East area before heading home on lazy sunday.

Anyway ! please tell me which bag to get, Osiris or Crumpler, i want a new cool stylist bagpack. so do me a favour by giving me your opinion. thanks alot

    hi everyone its the boring blog again. haha.. wonder how you people blog nearly everyday. that is sick ! anyway.. yesterday was my buddy's Post Birthday Party. so we all went to attend his party. only Joel wasn't there. :X the party was held at MeraPrime around Bukit Ho Swee. nice place for a 36floor rooftop party. drank alot of alcohol that Lamount got drunk and puke 3 times. scary eh. haha... all thanks to that cia quan game (guess what numeber is gonna appear) lucky thing no one died. hahaha kidding, all friends what. fight for what. i think i got so wasted that i actually know a new friend out of the blue. i'm normally shy ! hhahah. abput 11 we left the place for lamount's place. Julian, me, Er Jyn, Zhi Hong are the clicks. hahaha.. while lamount's punk classmate's in another click. but still we do socialize alittle. cause all friends. haha..but we sure did enjoyed ourself. lamount's mum scolded this other friends about the smoking part. i find her a great mother. friendlly yet strict kind of mother are the great kind ! alright i got work to do tomorrow. as i had not enough sleep last night

The truth about smoking

1. Tobacco kills about 45,000 Canadians a year. That's more than the total number of deaths from AIDS, car accidents, suicide, murder, fires and accidental poisonings combined.

2. There are over 4,000 dangerous chemicals in cigarettes, cigars and pipes smoke . Many of these chemicals are cancer-causing (carcinogen).

3. Smokers are at very high risk for many diseases:

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, including emphysema and chronic bronchitis)
• Lung cancer
• Cancer of the mouth, lip, throat and voice box
• Cancer of the pancreas
• Breast cancer
• Cervical cancer
• Stomach cancer
• Liver cancer
• Kidney cancer
• Bladder cancer
• Leukemia
• Coronary heart disease (e.g., heart attacks)
• Circulatory problems
• High blood pressure
• High cholesterol (LDL)
• Pneumonia
• Influenza (the "flu")
• The common cold
• Peptic ulcers
• Tooth decay (cavities)
• Gum disease
• Osteoporosis
• Sleep problems
• Cataracts

4. Second-hand smoke causes most of the serious health listed above, and more. Physicians for a Smoke-Free Canada estimate that every year, second-hand smoke kills from 1100 - 7800 Canadians

Cigarette smoking is the single most preventable cause of premature death in the United States. Each year, more than 400,000 Americans die from cigarette smoking. In fact, one in every five deaths in the United States is smoking related. 

• Between 1960 and 1990, deaths from lung cancer among women have increased by more than 400%—exceeding breast cancer deaths in the mid-1980s.² The American Cancer Society estimated that in 1994, 64,300 women died from lung cancer and 44,300 died from breast cancer.³
• Men who smoke increase their risk of death from lung cancer by more than 22 times and from bronchitis and emphysema by nearly 10 times. Women who smoke increase their risk of dying from lung cancer by nearly 12 times and the risk of dying from bronchitis and emphysema by more than 10 times. Smoking triples the risk of dying from heart disease among middle-aged men and women.¹
• Every year in the United States, premature deaths from smoking rob more than five million years from the potential lifespan of those who have died.¹
• Annually, exposure to secondhand smoke (or environmental tobacco smoke) causes an estimated 3,000 deaths from lung cancer among American adults.⁴ Scientific studies also link secondhand smoke with heart disease.

Not only that,

Cigarette companies have hidden behind animal experiments for decades, trying to forget that everything we know about lung cancer and other smoking related illnesses has come from human epidemiological and clinical studies, not from animal experiments. Even though U.S. federal law does not require that tobacco products be tested on animals and even though smoking experiments on animals have been illegal in Britain since 1997, thousands of animals are still kept in restraints like smoke masks and body holders and subjected to horrific experiments every year.

At this very moment, pregnant monkeys at the Oregon Regional Primate Research Center (ORPRC) are being kept in small, barren metal cages, their fetuses exposed to nicotine. Funded by the U.S. government, ORPRC experimenter Eliot Spindel acknowledges that "the deleterious effects of maternal smoking during pregnancy are all too well established." Yet his five year study, during which he will kill the baby monkeys and dissect their lungs, is funded (with tax money) through 2004.

This is one of countless examples of cruel and completely unnecessary experiments. Experimenters have taken large grants from cigarette manufacturer Philip Morris; from government agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institutes of Health; and even from the March of Dimes, to inject animals with nicotine, force them to inhale smoke and addict them to tobacco--a substance that they would never normally encounter or imbibe if left in peace.

Other examples of smoking experiments on animals include :

• Cutting holes in beagles' throats through which the dogs are forced to breathe concentrated cigarette smoke for a year.
  
  
• Inserting electrodes into dogs' penises to measure the effect of cigarette smoke on sexual performance.
  
  
• Strapping masks to the faces of rats and monkeys and permanently restraining them to force them to breathe cigarette smoke constantly.
  
  
• Forcing dogs to be on mechanical ventilators and chronically exposed to cigarette smoke.
  
  
• Restraining Rhesus monkeys in chairs with head devices and exposing them to nicotine and caffeine to determine how caffeine and nicotine affect breathing.

Experiment after experiment attempts to prove or, even more disconcertingly, disprove, in rats, mice, hamsters, lambs, dogs, cats, monkeys, and other animals, what is already known by the medical community to be true for humans, i.e. that:

• Smoking causes cancer of the lungs, larynx, tongue, salivary glands, mouth, pharynx, and esophagus
  
  
• Smoking contributes to cancer of the bladder, kidney, pancreas, stomach, and cervix
  
  
• Smoking contributes to cardiovascular disease and coronary heart disease
  
  
• 50 - 55% of all strokes in the United States are directly attributable to cigarettes smoking.
  
  
• Smoking during pregnancy hurts babies.
  
  
• Smoking is the leading cause of pulmonary illness and death in the United States, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, influenza, and pneumonia
  
  
• Smoking lowers the general body resistance to disease
  
  
• Nicotine is addictive.

So left Yong Zhi, Boon Bing, Wei Jie, me and the 2 girls ( lynette and Yan Ling ) and Yong zhi planned to watch a movie, and have decided to watch The Forbidden Kingdom in Vivo City at 12.10, and as it was only 10+ at that time.

We then went to the Sky Garden in Vivo City to slack around and play heart attack. felt bad as i kept messaging my friend. well.. you can't help it can't you ? haha... apologised to them already. haha..though its not even half a day of meet up, still its worthwhile. good to see old faces again. so it was 12already,

We were all excited to watch the Movie so another 2 broadrickians came, Doung Yu and Timothy. we all watch the movie. Now i really hate Golden Village for wasting 15mins of comercial time. and.. finally the movie started. worth watching in a way as there were more actions. haha... 2 hot babes acting, one playing good the other bad. hehe.. Yong zhi and most of us laughing throughout the movie. Doung Yu laughed because of their HongKong english accent. haha.. and the best part of when the Seeker lerns to fight. eh.. shouldn't be revealing at all. Go watch it ! its really worth the money.

i feel damn lazy to type things out. so i'm posting them. hehe..direct from chat logs. tata..

    day after day, week after week, month after months. my buddies are going in 7-8 times( national service ) gotta hang out with them. been busy with work and renovations lately, only finished hours ago.and gonna find more time to blog. its starting to rott. haha... i'm back again and remember to tag yeah ! and check my facebook for updates.

Finally.. i've got all permissions to cut my hair. its so much cooling now. love the new haircut and style too. well... i can't seem to think much when i'm blogging these days. maybe i'll just stick to photo blogging and if you want to see my drama photos, just go facebook. its there. ;)

    well... i have my ups and downs again.. which is bad of course. will find a solution asap. it sucks to be in a situation like that. well.. good to have friends like  Joel, Shane, Lamont, Nicholas and eurgene. nice people to hang out with and be open to each other. Thanks guys.

Drama rehearsal are getting tougher. as Easter is less than 2 weeks. so much to improvise on. timing on when to enter too ! later in the day gonna meet lamont and shane in town. shop eat and drink i think. haha..we'll see how oh ya.. i'm back into photography again. ;) need a photograher, i'm here.  :)

Yesterday Shane, Joel, Audrey and i were out in town the whole night till 4am. we first met up at 10.15pm. was suppose to watch a midnight movie but its 10,000bc which no one will want to watch especially me. so we headed down to cascauden to drink ! whoohoo ! Vodka promotion, Joel drank one glass, Audrey one glass, Shane a jug and me a glass too.. no la.. 3 glasses only. haha.. love vodka.. or any hard liquor. No beer please ! and so we want to sit around in cine then to heeren then to taka and our last stop was Lido's Mc'Donalds. slack there and rott till like 4am then we departure for home. yeah thats about it.

    i'm back to blogging after weeks if i'm not wrong. anyway// my life have been really great. lots of money to spend, bought myself a new samsung G600 as a reward for no reason. haha.. the lost of many life have got me real down, one of them is my laptop. spilt soup on it and it got shocked and died. rest in peace. until i have money, i'll upgrade the old you. lol.. went to eat at cascaden for dinner with Jole Shane and Eugene. had 2 jug of beer which i didn't like at all, 1 freaking big plate of yummy chickens and a plate of hawaii style fried rice each. was really enjoyable especially when we eat talk and played big two garden (tai tee) bridge. awesome. tired to carry on.. fine fine.. went for easter rehearsal at O school. was freaking late but wasn't the last. so glad. :) was from the jurong west team but ended up transfered to home ground expo. really happy. :) whoohoo ! and at the end of the day went back home together with jasmine. haha.. a fun filled day. see you all around. peace out !
